ABOUT US

Welcome to New Roots by Ramsey’s Farm—a new location, deeply rooted in tradition. Located in scenic Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, our new farm stand location brings the heart of our historic Delaware farm to a fresh community, offering the same trusted quality our family has been known for since 1860.

For over 160 years, the Ramsey family has cultivated land along the Brandywine River, growing with each generation. Originally known for our vibrant pumpkin patch and family-friendly fall traditions, we’ve expanded thoughtfully over the years to offer much more than just pumpkins.

Our passion for farming has led us to grow a wide variety of seasonal vegetables—from juicy heirloom tomatoes to tender lettuces, crisp cucumbers, and sweet corn. These are the same fresh, homegrown ingredients that have become staples in local kitchens and farmers markets for years.

In addition to produce, we are proud to offer premium Ramsey’s Wagyu Beef, responsibly raised on pasture for a rich, buttery flavor that sets it apart. This is our commitment to bringing not only the best vegetables, but also ethically raised, high-quality protein to our community.

Now operated by fifth-generation farmer Stewart Ramsey and his son Carl, Ramsey’s Farm remains a symbol of quality, stewardship, and family heritage. At New Roots, we’re thrilled to continue that legacy in Chadds Ford—connecting neighbors to the land, the seasons, and to each other.

Whether you’re visiting for your weekly vegetables or to pick up farm-raised Wagyu beef, we’re honored to share our harvest with you.

We know this spot holds a special place in many hearts, and we’re honored to grow in its footsteps. The stand that came before us was cherished by the community, and we hope to honor its legacy with the same care, quality, and connection to the land.
